Brianne Miller

MicrosoftBrianne Miller serves as Energy and Sustainability Policy Director for Microsoft U.S. Government Affairs. Brianne joined Microsoft in 2022 after serving as Director of Federal Relations for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory (INL), the nation’s laboratory for nuclear energy research and development, where she focused on policy issues related to clean energy, national security, science, and the environment. Prior to joining INL, she spent 16 years on Capitol Hill. Her experience includes serving as Deputy Staff Director for Energy on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee for then-Chairman Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Energy Policy Advisor to Senator James E. Risch (R-ID), Legislative Director to Congressman Doc Hastings (R-WA), and legislative assistant to Congressman Pete Olson (R-TX). Brianne is a graduate of Florida State University.
